🐶 Measuring Your Dog

To ensure the best possible fit for your dog's collar or harness, it's important to take accurate measurements.

🧵 1. Measure the Neck Circumference

Use a soft measuring tape to measure your dog’s neck at its narrowest point — typically just below the jawline, where the collar will naturally sit.

• Wrap the tape around the neck so that it’s snug but not tight.

• Make sure it's not so loose that it could slip over your dog’s head.

💡 Tip: You should be able to comfortably fit two fingers between the tape and your dog’s neck — this ensures a secure but comfortable fit.

🦴 2. Measure the Chest (for Harnesses)

For harnesses, you’ll also need to measure the girth — the widest part of your dog’s chest, usually just behind the front legs.

• Keep the tape snug but not tight.

• Measure while your dog is standing, for the most accurate results.
